Yesterday, a fantastic turn based strategy game for iOS was just released. Rodeo Games and Games Workshop partnered to release an iPad version of the classic 1995 board game Warhammer Quest. In the original board game, players would take on the role of a brave adventurer in search of loot and glory. The game was all about exploring dungeons in the Warhammer universe. It was a fun board game with a ton of great components that’s long since become hard to find.

Rodeo Games has created their own spin on Warhammer Quest with their new iOS version. It’s more of a dungeon crawler now than a board game but looks to be a great translation. I’ve watched some video of the Warhammer Quest iPad game and it looks to be very well done. The reviews have been appearing online and it’s also getting very high ratings. We aren’t going to be doing a review here on BGQ, I’ll leave that to the people that specialize in video games. If you own an iOS device, I’d say it’s definitely worth checking out.
