This Sunday, May 19, 2013 begins the second “mad dash” of the Gen Con season. The first, as any longtime attendee knows, was housing registrations back in January. I’ll spare you the gory details, but my condolences for anyone what has to go through that insanity.
This Sunday at 12pm Eastern time begins event preregistration. This is your friendly warning. Many events will sell out almost intermediately. I’d advise everyone to use the wish list feature in your account. Set that up ahead of time and you can just click purchase when the clock strikes Noon. Speed counts too as there will be thousands of other people fighting for some of the very same slots you want.
As far as what to register for? We’ll I’ll leave that up to you. If you are a long time attendee, you probably already know what you want to play. For some new people, here are a few events worth checking out at least once (not all require registration):
